Flashes Assemble for Movers and Groovers 2025!
We are currently in search of volunteers to help move students in during the Movers & Groovers program. Sign up to help us move-in and welcome the class of 2029!
Movers and Groovers will take place from August 13th – 14th, from 9:00am - 5:00pm. Each year it takes a large number of volunteers to make this event a success, and that’s where we need your help!
Movers and Groovers Volunteers will do the following:
- Greet new students as they arrive on campus!
- Help students move into their residence hall rooms (carrying bags, boxes, etc.)!
- Guide new students and answer questions they may have about moving in!
By helping with Movers and Groovers, you will have the opportunity to move into your Fall 2025 residence hall room the day before your first Movers and Groovers shift(s) at no additional charge if applicable!
You will also receive a free t-shirt, and we can sign off on any volunteer/community service hour sheets that you may need filled!
- If you are a part of an organization that would like to work at the same location, we ask that each individual involved registers for Movers and Groovers–this ensures that we have the correct number of volunteers per station as well as the correct number of t-shirts and sizes!

Note: You are welcome to sign up for more than one shift per day, but please make sure to show up to every shift that you sign up for as it helps to keep us organized.
